Dr. Bramwell feels that it is important to vaccinate all infants. We vaccinate with two injections per visit, instead of the usual four injections. We bring the child back for "catch-up" vaccinations. Many parents choose to have a delayed or modified vaccine schedule.
Dr. Bramwell will not refuse to treat a child
if the parents choose not to vaccinate. While Dr. Bramwell urges all
of her patients to vaccinate, she understands that parents have the right
to make an informed decision regarding their child. The child will always
be taken care of in spite of the beliefs of the parents.
Dr. Bramwell accommodates requests regarding a delayed or selective vaccine
schedule after an informed decision has been made with the parents. It is
important to understand the risks and benefits of vaccines and to explain
specific questions about the different types of vaccines. Dr. Bramwell
will try to address all of your concerns. Please note that to enter
public school in NJ, only religious or medical (not philosophical) exemptions
may be made.
